On Return

I have let this slide for two years now.  The direction our country has taken is even more disturbing than I imagined it could be back in November of 2008. We have believed since the ratification of the Constitution in 1789 that our liberties and freedoms were enshrined and protected by that Constitution and that the checks and balance put in place there by could hold against ever onslaught. We were wrong.
As I write today, our very way of life is threatened by a president who has seen fit to act outside the Constitution to enact rules and regulations having the force of law without the benefits of legislative approval to create a country that functions the way he wants it to regardless of the wishes of the people, the rule of law, and the precedent of history.
The real question before the country in this election is will we let this stand or will we fight back and return to the Constitutional rule of law and free enterprise that made our country the greatest nation in the history of the world.
